This extremely finely crafted face offers a particular presence. It seems to float or, like an object, emerge from a horizontal plane suggested by the white of the page.
It speaks of a state of being in things, in fact our physical posture, whether for example standing, lying down or hunched, influences our states of mind and our thoughts. A face is most often observed and represented vertically, here it is seen from another angle, as if to see it better or differently. The neutral expression contributes to an impression of suspended time.
This drawing is taken from a series of 21 drawings, produced in 2011.

A “HEALTHY” WALL
A work on paper is fragile, for better conservation :
・Avoid a humid room such as a bathroom.
・In the kitchen, watch out for smoke and oil splashes.
・Avoid a wall constantly exposed to the sun. Otherwise choose anti-UV glass from your framer.
FRAMING
→The works are sold without frame
・It is strongly recommended to frame an original work with glass for protection.
・It is advisable to be guided by your framer for aesthetic questions and for the choice of glass:
Anti-UV glass will protect your work from the sun. An anti-reflective glass provides exceptional rendering , for an invisible glass effect.
